Why on earth would John McCain announce his intention to run for President of the United States on the David Letterman show?! Forget blowing off CPAC to irritate the Right - announce your candidacy on a blantantly left-wing, late night blather-fest for heaven's sake! How dignified! Do we really trust Letterman's audience to elect the next President?! I cannot imagine...
Afterall, Letterman was surprised by Britney Spears!
