This is the third Presidential Election in which I will willingly and gladly participate (admittedly I'm an late political bloomer...), so I am reading voraciously to educate myself in order to make the most intelligent choices possible. I've been going to vote Republican from the beginning of this insanely drawn-out campaign. My first leaning was toward Romney, and when I heard his speech at CPAC, I was LIVID the Mainstream Media - surely an oxymoron - so swiftly removed him from the race. And I still growl when I think about how they booted Thompson and Guiliani from the roster in short order. Huckabee? I watch him on Fox, convinced he really did get the better deal! So we're left with McCain against Oprah's Pamepred and Adored "One". Well, fine. We'll work with him. God was wearing Red the day he prompted McCain to deliver Sarah Palin to a starved and parched Conservative base. And of course the MSM disposed of all those who dared to run against Their Messiah quickly - except God bless her, Hillary gave it more effort than the Far Left anticipated.
At any rate, the more I read, the more defined I become. And the more defined I become, the less rational and reasonable Obama and his Democrats/Liberals/Leftists are to me. And the less rational and reasonable Obama and the Democrats/Liberals seem to me, the more I want to shake each and every one voting to plunge America into a radical, Socialistic, Marxist, almost Communistic country. Do they not pay attention to history? Oh, right. Only history as THEY revise it. Do they not see the countries they worship and ape - France, Germany, Canada, China - moving to the right, toward Captialism, toward Conservatism, toward personal responsibility and accountability? Did they suffer such cerebral damage in the Sixties they are unable to coherently and responsibly make choices.. particularly choices which affect the rest of us?!?!?!?!?!?!
I shudder to wake on the fifth of November and find myself in a true third world country...
